Kruunuvuori Bridge Opens 18.4.2026

The opening of the bridge will be celebrated at Korkeasaari Zoo with special campaign prices throughout the weekend, April 17–19, 2026.

The Kruunuvuori Bridge, which connects Laajasalo and Korkeasaari, and is the longest bridge in Finland, will be opened for pedestrians and cyclists on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The new bridge connection makes it possible to arrive to Korkeasaari Zoo from a completely new direction!

The new bridge connection will also be celebrated on the island of animals with special campaign offers valid from Friday to Sunday, April 17–19, 2026:

  • During the opening weekend, zoo admission costs only 10 (normally 15–24 )
  • When you buy multiple items in the zoo shop, you get 50% off one item of your choice

These offers are valid only on-site at Korkeasaari Zoo and cannot be used afterward. The difference between advance tickets purchased from the online store (valid for 30 days) and the campaign prices will not be refunded.

In April, Korkeasaari Zoo is open daily from 10:00 to 16:00, with the last entry to the zoo at 15:00. Bistro Bron and the Korkeasaari Zoo shop, located in the entrance building, are open until 17:00.
