Free entry days

On free days the zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the entrance closing at 3 p.m. We reserve the right to change the schedule and limit the number of visitors if necessary. Pre-booking for free days is not possible.

Free entry days take place on Mondays once a month, from October to March.

You can get to Korkeasaari from either Nihti, Laajasalo or Mustikkamaa by walking or cycling across the bridge. There is no bus service to Korkeasaari; the nearest tram stop is called Nihti. Korkeasaari does not have its own car park; the nearest car parks are at the Redi shopping centre in Kalasatama and in Mustikkamaa.

Group visits on a free day

Groups are also welcome to visit on free entry days if the number of visitors for the day is not already full. We do not accept advance reservations for groups on free days.

With an annual pass you can visit the zoo all year round

If you want to visit Korkeasaari Zoo more often, on days that suit your schedule, you should get an annual pass! You save money compared to single admission tickets after just a few visits. The Annual Pass is valid for one year from the date of activation, even for events where normal ticket prices apply. The Annual Pass also entitles you to discounts at Korkeasaari Zoo’s restaurants and shops.
