At the Korkeasaari Shop, you’ll find Finland’s wildest collection of soft animal toys, as well as a wide selection of animal-themed souvenirs and toys for yourself or as gifts. Our range includes magnets, pens, keyrings, clothing, and postcards, among other items. You can pay in the shop with cash or by debit or credit card.
We also offer many products you may need during your visit, such as coffee and soft drinks, water bottles, sunscreen and hats, as well as matches and firelighters for lighting the grills at the picnic areas. In case of rain, you can buy an animal-themed umbrella or a biodegradable disposable rain poncho from us.
Discounts with an annual pass
If you have a Korkeasaari Zoo’s annual pass, remember to show it at the checkout – annual pass holders receive a 10% discount on shop products! The discount does not apply to stamps or admission tickets.
Opening hours
The shop is open all year round. It opens at the same time as Korkeasaari Zoo, but remains open for one hour after the zoo closes. So you’ll have plenty of time to do some shopping after your zoo visit! You can also visit the shop without a zoo admission ticket.
The Korkeasaari Shop does not currently have an online shop, and products are not available for postal delivery. During the summer, a smaller container shop also operates within the zoo grounds.
Responsible products
When selecting our suppliers, we pay close attention to the ethical and ecological aspects of the products.
The filling in all soft toys in our selection is made from recycled plastic. We are continuously increasing the number of products made entirely from recycled materials, such as lanyards and soft toys. Together with our suppliers, we reduce waste by, for example, eliminating product packaging altogether.
The toys supplied to Korkeasaari Zoo are mainly provided by Wild Republic and Nature Planet, which comply with the strictest toy safety standards – both in the Nordics and worldwide.
