Event dates and opening hours
The Korkeasaari K18 event will be held on September 12, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.! Please note that the last admission to the zoo is at 9 p.m.
During the day, the zoo is open to visitors with annual passes and admission tickets from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (note: last admission at 1 p.m.), after which Korkeasaari will be cleared of all visitors. The zoo will open to visitors with event tickets at 4 p.m.
Arrival
Arrival by land to Korkeasaari K18 is possible via three bridges: from Nihti along the new Finkensilta bridge, from Mustikkamaa via the traditional Korkeasaari bridge or from Laajasalo via the Kruunuvuorensilta bridge. We recommend leaving your car at home or at the Redi car park and using public transport. At the end of the Finkensilta bridge, there is a tram stop for line 13 and a city bike station.
The event has traditionally been popular, so be prepared to queue and wait for your turn.

Event tickets
During the event, Korkeasaari can only be accessed with a separate, day-specific event ticket. The event is only open to people over the age of 18. There are a limited number of tickets available, so make sure you secure your place in good time – last year’s event was sold out!
