At Korkeasaari Zoo, there’s a perfect spot for both small groups and large gatherings. Step away from the usual office setting – or host a truly unique celebration at the zoo!

Paanu Cabinet

Completed in 2025, Paanu – Korkeasaari Zoo’s entrance building – offers a stylish and modern private meeting room for meetings, workshops, and small events. Catering can be conveniently arranged under the same roof from Bistro Bron.


Capacity		Lecture hall style seating for up to 40 guests. As a meeting room with table groups: up to six 4-person tables.
EquipmentLarge LED display, laptop connectivity (HDMI), built-in webcam and audio system (USB-C). Open WiFi provided by the City of Helsinki.
AccessibilityThe meeting room and the entire building, including all services, are fully accessible. An induction loop is available with the sound system.
PriceRequest a quote! Use of the venue does not require zoo admission tickets; tickets can be purchased separately.

Bear Hall

This meeting room is located in the Bear Castle, next to the brown bear enclosure. The space can accommodate up to 70 people, and its flexible furnishings along with modern meeting technology make it ideal for a variety of events. You can easily order catering from Restaurant Karhu, located in the same building, or move to the restaurant for dining.

Without a meeting package: full day (8 hours) 300 €, or half day (4 hours) 150 €, plus zoo admission fees.
AvailabilityNot available for bookings from April 3rd to August 31st 2026 due to renovations.
Otherwise available year-round depending on booking status. Not available on free admission days.

Restaurant Pukki

Located in the heart of Korkeasaari Zoo, the Restaurant Pukki is the perfect venue for both dining and private events. The historic main hall, built in 1884, can be reserved for groups of up to 70 people, while the private rooms offer a quiet space for smaller groups to dine or hold meetings.

AccessibilityRestaurant Pukki is fully accessible, with a ramp located at the side of the building. Accessible restroom available in the building.

Korpi Hut

Korpikota is Korkeasaari Zoo’s cozy and unique meeting space, perfect for team days, smaller celebrations, and as a base for your group during a zoo visit. Located on the seaside of Korkeasaari Zoo’s peaceful Korpi area that showcases Finnish nature, the Hut offers an ideal retreat from everyday hustle in an inspiring environment.

Catering can also be ordered from the zoo’s restaurants.
EquipmentThe hut is not accessible; there is a step at the door and a high threshold.
The nearest accessible restroom is located by the otter enclosure.

The Korpi Hut and the Bear Hut cannot be rented simultaneously for private use; at least one of them remains open to all zoo visitors at all times.

Bear Hut

The Bear Hut combines the cozy atmosphere of a traditional Finnish hut with the immersive seaside environment of Korkeasaari Island next to the zoo’s Bear Castle. The fireplace at the center of the space creates a welcoming ambiance for both work and relaxation, and sharing a meal around it is an unforgettable experience.
