Purpose of the collected funds
The collected funds are used, in accordance with the rules and principles of the Korkeasaari Zoo Foundation, for the conservation of biodiversity, the protection of endangered animal species and their habitats, conservation-related research, and the promotion of conservation education in Finland and abroad.
The funds are used in the operational areas of non-governmental organizations carrying out conservation work in the wild, as well as in cooperation aligned with conservation campaigns organized by the zoo association EAZA.
