Intangible gifts

Do you want to give your loved one a gift that truly matters? Non-material gift delights the recipient and benefits nature at the same time. By choosing an intangible gift from Korkeasaari Zoo, you help protect endangered animals and preserve biodiversity.

Gift for nature that brings joy to the recipient

Korkeasaari Zoo’s conservation work extends beyond the zoo: together with our international and domestic partners, we work to protect habitats, combat poaching, and reintroduce species into the wild.

Choose a specific animal species or conservation project that is meaningful to the recipient, or make a general donation to support biodiversity, allowing your gift to be used where it is needed most.

Quality time at the zoo

A ticket to Korkeasaari Zoo is a gift that offers insights, encounters, and a deeper understanding of biodiversity. It can be a fun family outing, an immersive learning experience for children, or a peaceful moment in nature.

You don’t need to choose an exact visit date in advance – gift tickets purchased online are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. Tickets can be easily given to the recipient as an e-gift or a printable version. You can easily book a time for the guided tour online.

Annual Pass – a gift that lasts all year

An annual pass to the zoo brings joy for a full 365 days! The validity period starts from the activation of the pass. Korkeasaari Zoo’s annual pass is an experiential gift that offers memorable moments throughout the year – while supporting the work of protecting animals and nature.

The recipient can visit Korkeasaari Zoo whenever it suits them: on a quiet weekday, a holiday morning, or on a spontaneous whim. Annual pass holders also enjoy discounts at the zoo’s restaurants and shops.

Unique animal encounter

Give the gift of an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience with a zookeeper! The recipient will get to provide enrichment to a selected animal while learning more about the species, animal welfare, and natural behaviors of the animals. The encounter is always conducted on the animals’ terms: visitors can observe the animals up close, but not touch them.

Animal encounters are offered in limited numbers and are not available at all times. Each encounter can include a maximum of three participants. Depending on the activity, participants must be at least 8, 12, or 15 years old, and at least one adult must accompany them. Every animal encounter also supports the conservation of endangered species.
