Tokay gecko
Gekko gecko
The tokay gekko is named after the male lizard’s mating call ”to-kay, to-kay” to females. With the help of its toe pads, the gecko can climb tree trunks, branches and other surfaces even upside down. In some parts of the tokay gecko’s wide range, it is believed to bring good luck.
