On a guided tour, you will dive into the secrets of the animal kingdom together with an expert guide from Korkeasaari Zoo. Korkeasaari Zoo offers a wide range of guided tours for schoolchildren of all ages as well as upper secondary school (lukio) students. The content is always tailored to the needs of the group to make learning fun, engaging, and inspiring. Our guided tours for school groups support the Finnish National Core Curriculum’s environmental studies, biology and geography content areas and objectives. In addition, all guided tours for school groups support the transversal (broad-based) learning objectives of the curriculum.
Pricing
The price of a guided tour for school groups is 75 € + possible zoo admission fees. Tours are available year-round and can be conducted in Finnish or English. Ask about availability in other languages!

All guided programmes support acting in everyday situations and communities by taking the group into a new kind of learning environment, where the visit takes place on the terms of both people and animals. We learn to identify different species and habitats, and we encourage students to ask even challenging questions.
Korkeasaari of the season
On this tour, the guide presents the most current, charismatic, and interesting animal species, while also explaining the important role of zoos in species conservation.

Ethology at Korkeasaaressa
