Garden tree boa
Corallus hortulana
The Garden tree boa, also known as the Amazon tree boa, spends most of its time in trees. Long teeth are useful for catching flying birds and bats. The boa suffocate their prey before swallowing it. These snakes come in a variety of colours, ranging individually from brown, grey, black to yellow, orange, or red – or a combination of these.
